For the past three years, the annual ECMI Summer School has trained more than 70 young scholars and practitioners from all over Europe and beyond (USA, Japan, Philippines, Tunisia, Syria, etc.), advancing their knowledge on diversity management, border region challenges and minority rights.
Concluding the ECMI Eastern Partnership Programme (EPP) seminars in Ukraine under the framework “National Minorities and Ethno-Political Issues: Belarus-Moldova-Ukraine”, the EPP team was able to confirm partnership agreements with stakeholders in the region while also successfully fostering an environment where participants actively engaged on a variety of topics involving minority issues in Europe.
During the latest round of the Eastern Partnership Programme (EPP) seminars in Ukraine, Acting Director for the ECMI Caucasus Regional Office Ewa Chylinski discussed her experience lecturing for the EPP, the opportunities for sharing knowledge and the challenges the programme experts face delivering presentations to expecting audiences.
