Anti-Minority Incidents Continue in Vojvodina / January 2005 / Hungarian Human Rights Foundation
Harassment and physical attacks against minorities are all too regular occurrences in the province of Vojvodina. Numbering 300,000, and comprising 14 percent of the population, ethnic Hungarians are the largest national minority in this multiethnic region. The radicalization of Serbian society, especially within Vojvodina, has intensified since the national elections of Autumn 2003.
