Project Assistant

Oto Skale is originally from Celje, in the eastern part of Slovenia. He received the BA degree in Political Science from the University of Ljubljana. He completed his master’s degree in International Law at the University of Maribor in 2011. He wrote his thesis on territorial autonomy as a means of protection of ethnic minorities in the EU. This study compared the situation in the Aaland Islands with that in South Tyrol.

Oto Skale is assisting in the cluster Poitics & Civil Society and Citizenship & Ethics. He will be in charge of of assisting in preparations of ECMI teaching modules for the Flensburg University (MA in European Studies) and ECMI training programmes. Furthermore he is working on the ECMI project: Minority Map and Timeline Europe (MMTE).
