ECMI Course on "Minorities in Conflict Zones": Deadline extended

The deadline for the course on “Minorities in Conflict Zones” has been extended to 31 May 2011. The intensive 2-day course offers training for young diplomats deploying to regions that are experiencing conflicts which involve minorities. Through lectures and country/region sessions, a small group of young diplomats will have the opportunity to get introduced to the causes and effects of new and frozen conflicts and to learn about the global legal and political regime for protection of minorities. Lecturers and speakers are recruited from international organizations, high ranking universities in Europe and the ECMI staff.
