First Technical Expert Seminar on Complex Power-Sharing Arrangements in Cyprus ECMI is holding the First Technical Expert Seminar on Complex Power-Sharing Arrangements in Cyprus, through the generous support of the Carnegie Corporation of New York and under the auspices of the Centre for International Studies, University of Cambridge.

Capitalizing on the political climate, which now favours working out a settlement for Cyprus, the Seminar provides a forum for international experts and local officials and political actors to discuss the most critical issues of the Complex Power-Sharing Arrangements in Cyprus through the dissemination of expert knowledge and lessons learned from other conflict resolution processes. Those issues include allocation of power, property claims, managing returns and EU accession. Apart from several politicians and governmental officials from Turkey and Northern Cyprus, Yasar Yakis, Head of the Turkish Parliamentary Commission on EU, Ayse Donmezer, Minister of Economy and Tourism of Northern Cyprus, Ali Erel, Mayor of Northern Nicosia will attend the Seminar. The seminar will take place at Dedeman Resort Hotel in Antalya, Turkey, on Saturday, March 6.
