The focus of this paper falls on the question of belonging, examined through the intersection of ethnicity, domestic materiality and gender, and proposes an analysis based on empirical data collected by means of anthropological research carried out in Totoieni in 2011. It hopes to contribute to the understanding of the conditions which contextualise and shape the feeling of belonging of Roma women living in small communities.
