The 10th Annual Summer School on National Minorities in Border Regions – a joint initiative with Coppieters Foundation – is in the starting blocks

2020-04-02

Even though COVID-19 is currently posing unprecedented challenges across Europe, we are still working on our Annual Summer School for 2020 and can proudly announce that the 10th Annual Summer School on National Minorities in Border Regions – a joint initiative with Coppieters Foundation – is in the starting blocks and is this year returning home to Flensburg, after two successful years in Brussels and Berlin.

This year’s topic:

"Minorities and Referendums: Shaping or Being Shaped?” (23rd until 29th of August 2020).

The Summer School Team has developed contingency plans which will allow us to proceed with the programme should disruptions occur due to travel restrictions for lecturers. These contingencies include some flexibility in the teaching and activities of the programme, including interactive online teaching options and sourcing locally-based lecturers to step in.

If confirmed participants are unable to attend the Summer School due to travel restrictions relating to the crisis, they will be fully refunded for any fees paid up to that point. In the event that the programme is cancelled entirely, any fees paid will be refunded in full.

The tuition fee for the Summer School 2020 is 200 EUR if the completed application is submitted until 29th April 2020 (EARLY BIRD discount)
