Craig Willis (UK)

Recently finished an MA in European Studies at the Europa Universitat Flensburg, Craig wrote his

Master thesis in the area of ‘distributing communal wealth’. Previously a BA Business Management graduate from the University of Brighton in the UK, he spent an extended break from academia travelling to over 50 countries in a three year period which included many of the areas in which the ECMI conducts much of its activities. These included most of Eastern Europe, the Caucasian countries, and Central Asia. Hitchhiking and couchsurfing in these regions provided a unique first-hand experience of the complex countries, aiding both his European-focused political science studies as well as work here at the ECMI.

Following an internship focusing on education issues in the FCNM under Dr. Zora Popova in 2017, Craig now works part-time in the secretariat as an assistant to Maj-Britt Hansen. Duties include English language editing for ECMI publications, as well as other general administrative tasks.
