ECMI provides expert advice to the Polish EU Presidency

On 22 November 2011, ECMI Director Tove H. Malloy participated in a Seminar for experts convened by the Polish EU Presidency in Warsaw, Poland and organized in co-operation with the office of the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities (HCNM). The Seminar, “European challenges and approaches to integration of society:  differences and commonalities” addressed social integration, and Dr. Malloy’s intervention on the panel “Ethnic diversity and integration of society” focused on the integration of national minorities through participation. The Seminar heard presentations from the High Commissioner, EU officials, the Director of the Fundamental Rights Agency as well as officials from the Council of Europe.
