We would like to invite you to a public lecture on:

"History of the German-Polish border region"

By Dr. habil. Katarzyna Stokłosa

Dr. habil. Katarzyna Stokłosa is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Border Region Studies, University of Southern Denmark. She completed her Ph.D. on Borders and Neighborhood in Eastern and Central Europe at the Department of Modern Social and Economic History at the Europa-Universitt Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder. Before joining SDU, she has worked at the University of Potsdam and University of Dresden, among others. She has also served as Director of the Program for Central and Eastern Europe in the Research Institute of the German Council on Foreign Relations. Her research interests cover contemporary history, history of Eastern and East-Central Europe, border regions in the world, national minorities in Eastern, East-Central and Western Europe, German-Polish history, regional history, history of migration, perceptions of national history, and history of expulsions and displaced people.
