At the ECMI, Aydan works as a Project Assistant for the Ukraine Programme.
She obtained her Master`s degree in European Studies at the Europa-Universität Flensburg and her Bachelor`s degree in International Relations at the Baku State University in Azerbaijan. In her master thesis, she conducted a comparative analysis of German and the US Policy regarding irregular immigration and stigmatization. Currently, Aydan is undertaking her PhD at the University of Flensburg on the topic of digital transformation vis-à-vis Cyber Security and Data Protection in Europe. Aydan already worked with the ECMI in the frames of her internship with focus on the Eastern Partnership Programme. Before joining the ECMI, she has been working at the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan. Aydan is fluent in English, Azerbaijani, Russian and Turkish.
