Camila Ignacia Uribe Rosales
Camila is a Chilean anthropologist with a degree from Universidad Austral de Chile, living and working in the South of Chile.
While developing her career in environmental and sustainability issues, social unrest exploded in Chile, and she became involved as a Human Rights Observer. She continues to explore these areas and is also interested in developing Human Rights frameworks as an intrinsic part of sustainability and therefore, long term social justice. At the ECMI, Camila is working on her research within the Politics & Civil Society Cluster as a visiting fellow in the framework of ifa’s CrossCulture Programme (CCP). Her main research focus revolves around the contemporary migrations to Chile and the links of migrant groups to the new constitutional process underway in this country.
