Erik Kühl

Erik is part of the Minority Issues in the Denmark-Germany Border Region Cluster, where he is currently working on a white paper focused on “unpacking the minority models.” Prior to this, he worked on projects with the Minderheiten-Kompetenznetzwerk at the Akademie Sankelmark.

Erik holds a bachelor’s degree in History and Central European Studies, and a master’s degree in European Studies from Aarhus University (Denmark). His research interests include, but are not limited to, the Denmark-Germany border region, Europeanization, securitization, populism, the historical dynamics of national minority groups in Northern and Central Europe, as well as aspects of cross-border cooperation among European states. He spent a semester at Europa-Universität Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany, studying European cross-border cooperation.
