Ismoil is an intern at the ECMI. He received his bachelor's degree from international law at the Tajik National University. Recently, he finished his MA degree studies “Politics and Security (Central Asia)” at the OSCE Academy in Bishkek with a top GPA award. His research interests include international law and human rights, access to justice, nationalism, and nation-building in Post-Soviet Central Asia. He wrote his MA thesis on nation-building in Tajikistan, covering the analysis of political discourse on the national identity of independent Tajikistan.
At the ECMI, Ismoil will be involved in the Justice & Governance cluster and will study the access of national minorities to the international human rights protection mechanisms.
