Niko Quade

Niko Quade is an intern at the Research Cluster Conflict & Security, led by Dr. Felix Schulte.

He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Sociology at Christian-Albrechts-Universität in Kiel, where he also works as a student assistant in teaching and research at the Department of Political Science. His research interests include, but are not limited to, regional autonomy, subnational democracy, the electoral dynamics of secessionism, and British regional studies.

Niko plans to write his bachelor’s thesis on the causes and consequences of secessionism in Scotland and is confident that his internship at ECMI will provide him with the necessary expertise, data, and support.
