Seira Duncan

Seira Duncan is an indigenous Eurasian doctoral researcher in the Social and Cultural Encounters programme at the University of Eastern Finland and was a fellow at the Arctic Institute and the East-West Center. More recently, she started her fellowship at the International Arctic Science Committee and completed her stays as a Visiting PhD student at the University of Tromsø and Ilisimatusarfik (University of Greenland). As a visiting researcher at the ECMI between April – June 2023, she is researching the indigenous language-psychology nexus in Greenland, Sápmi and Scotland.
