Meyeti Payet

Meyeti Payet holds a degree in Political Sciences and earned a Master's in European Law and International Affairs from Sciences Po Rennes, France. For nearly two years, she was a member of the Council of Europe's Secretariat of the Framework Convention on the Protection of National Minorities in the Anti-Discrimination Department. Currently, Meyeti utilizes her expertise in international standards of minority protection as an Independent Consultant focusing on human rights, particularly socio-economic rights and intersectionality.

Since April 2023, she has actively contributed to projects and publications of the ECMI Justice and Governance Cluster. Her primary focus is researching the effective implementation of the FCNM recommendations, and she plays a key role in supporting the editing process of the European Yearbook of Minority Issues.
