What We Publish

Articles

We welcome research articles (8,000-10,000 words, including footnotes and bibliography) on topics relevant to the Journal's areas of interest. All submissions to the journal should be prepared in accordance with JEMIE’s Author guidelines. Each contribution will undergo peer-review, based on initial screening and double-blind refereeing by a minimum of two anonymous reviewers.

Commentaries

We welcome commentaries reflecting on recent developments in our Journal’s area of interest (3,000-4,000 words, including footnotes and bibliography). Manuscripts should include a short abstract (100-150 words), 3-4 keywords, and a note outlining the author’s affiliation, contact details, and ORCID link.

Book reviews

We also publish book reviews (1,000-1,500 words, including footnotes and bibliography); if you are interested in publishing a book review in JEMIE and would like to receive a review copy, please get in touch with the Assistant Editor.
