Katharina Jürgensen

Katharina is in charge of communications at the ECMI.

Katharina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Communication (Syddansk Universitet/ Sønderborg) and a Master’s degree in Language, Media and Arts (Europa Universität Flensburg).

Besides the degree programmes, she holds professional certificates in Project Management, Fundraising and International Management (ESSCA: Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d'Angers/ France) and has extensive experience in cultural administration and PR. Before joining ECMI, she worked in editorial departments and educational establishment in Hamburg, Copenhagen and London. Her personal research interests lie in the fields of language acquisition, gender in language and media and intercultural communication.
